Strengthening Health Systems

A strong, well-functioning and sustainable health system – capable of efficiently delivering and managing health care services – is vital to improving the health status of Kenyans. Strengthening health information systems at all levels to meet rigorous reliability, performance, and data quality requirements is one of the core deliverables of AfriAfya's project interventions.

AfriAfya strongly believes that expert led training using accepted health training curriculums followed by mentorship and support supervision of the Health Care Workers is a Key capacity building approach of the health human resource and it results into lasting impact on the delivery of quality health services. AfriAfya’s health system strengthening methodology is founded on the participatory intervention principle and that every service provision level is as important in informed decision making process. All these efforts are geared to sharing innovative, practical health informatics and systems that make best use of resources and deliver a maximum return on investment.
